New Play Structure and chocolate cake

Papa, Greg, Daniel, Uncle Jer, Hudson and I took turns over the past week assembling and constructing Hudson's new play structure. Papa and Greg assembled the parts while Daniel did most of the hard work putting it together.  They worked so dang hard all week for Hudson! I am so grateful for everyone's help, the beautiful weather and our new backyard. I forsee so many hours of family fun and childhood memories.

May: Wax Museum and Concert

This has been such a busy month for Hudson.

2nd Grade puts on a Living Wax Museum.  Hudson was Albert Einstein.  He read, researched, wrote and memorized a speech.  He was also expected to create a backdrop with a timeline, pictures and other information.  He nailed the look and was a very popular booth.

The next day, Hudson had his 2nd grade spring concert.  He had a speaking part and they sang lots songs.

Earlier in the month we were able to get out and  enjoy the Elephant and Piggie play together as well.
