Tonsil Update

So....Here's the Good, The Bad and the Ugly:

Good:
1. My tonsil isn't pussy so it wasn't poked and drained today.  I am now on heavy drugs (high dose antibiotic, steroids and pain meds) to try to get the swelling down and the infection taken care of.

Bad:
2. This isn't treatable without removing them

Ugly:
3.  I get to have them removed over Christmas Break

So, on my 21st birthday I broke a finger, on my 32nd birthday I get the news of a upcoming tonsillectomy.   I am scared to see what news I get on my 43rd birthday.

Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers.  I am already thinking about the ice cream I want for Christmas dinner.
